SSD caching software - Intel SRT, Marvel HyperDuo, OCZ Dataplex, etc.

Hello Everyone,

I'm in the market for some SSD caching and I found out there are many ways to make it work from the software side.

Some depend on the motherboard you use:
- Intel Smart Response Technology. (If you have a z68 chipset, don't know about the X79 or z77)
- Marvell HyperDuo (If you have Marvell a controller). This one runs in the Marvell firmware, not the OS.

Others depend on the SSD brand you bought and run in the OS, like OCZ (who uses NVELO Datapalex)

So I'm trying to find out which tech is better but I'm unable to find any benchmarks comparing the "caching software". Only thing I found so far is NVELO claiming their Dataplex is faster than Intel SRT.

If anyone know about any benchmark, comparison or anything like that it will be greatly appreciated

Thanks!
