Why doesnt all of my sata devices wont recognized by the bios after plugging a n

Hello,
I have installed a new motherboard(AsROCK g31M-VS2).
But all of my SATA drivers didn't work.Therefor I check everything.Then
I knew that it doesn't happen when the sata cable of my DVD writer
is plugged out.
Why all of my sata ports won't wark when my dvd writer is
connected?I kindly ask a good answer for this from you

If you have changed motherboard, I would suggest re-installing windows and use the driver disc provided by the motherboard manufacturer to install all the necessary drivers to run windows.
