Please help me. ASAP - *JAM!*

not good not good T_T.. ok well i put a CD in the CD drive.. and my computer ate it.. all i heard after i pushed the drive back in was... *clank .. tink...* i opened it back up and well... THERE WAS NO CD!!!!!.. now the cd drive is stuck open and i cant close it.. it goes 1/4 of the way in and then it gets shot out... i can barely see the cd stuck inside......

I HAVE heard of the paper clip hole thing... but well i dont see any hole on the drive.. any where on the front of my .. Dell Inspiron 530 slim. please help!!!

You will probably have to pull the drive apart to fix it. The hole you are talking about is to eject the drive when it wont eject on its own.

Take the drive out of the computer and take the metal cover off. You will be able to retrieve the CD.

Look for screws around the back edge. When laid flat the top panel slides off.
