Boot Problems In Slots 2 & 4

I am getting boot issues to where it will light up and the fans will start for about 3 seconds then it will all shut down then start again, rinse and repeat. This happened when I tried adding my new sticks inside slot 2 and 4. They work just fine in slots 1 and 3 and my old memory doesn't work in slots 2 and 4 either.

With that said, I cannot run all 4 sticks at one time because it seems like if I put anything in slots 2 and 4 it will run that boot problem. Is there a specific setting I should change to run all 4 at the same time? I figured it was just as easy and installing the first 2 sticks.

Have you tried booting into the BIOS with two sticks and adding a bit of RAM voltage? Some boards need extra just to run four sticks of RAM. If you have 1.5v RAM, try 1.55v or 1.6v to see if that works. Also, make sure command rate is set to 2T/2N.

I will test the command rate, haven't done that. Just on lunch break, will try in a few hours.

I tried adjusting the voltage though.
