  1. The HD 5670 should be compatible, that 450W PSU sounds generic but the HD 5670 barely uses any power so you should be fine.
  2. About your motherboard, what pcie slot version? 1.0? 1.1? 2.0?
Since the HD5670 you've mentioned above is 2.1 version, then if you has pcie 1.0 on your motherboard then i suggest you grab HD5670 2.0 version...
many issue with 2.1 card running on 1.0 slot... :)

About PSU, it's okay, HD5670 is not a power hungry card, you will be fine.
  3. my motherboard pcex16 is ver 1.0, can 2.1 run with 1.0?
  4. maybe yes, maybe not...
there's some people that succeed to run 2.1 card on 1.0 mobo and the other is not...
  5. oh, thank you. if i cannot work i will have to buy another motherboard. maybe AMD785
  6. It's a hard decision, let's hear what Lmeow says about this...

  7. this is my computer CPU Intel Pentium D 935, 3.2 Ghz, motherboard Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3, memory 3GB DDR2 800, 160Gb seagate, Acbel 450W psu, and 17'' LG monitor, before i got the 7300Gt but i sold it and now i wanna upgrade to the HD5670. so if HD5670 doesn't work with my motherboard, i may change another one, can pentium D works with intel G41 chipset? if can i will buy both new mobo and vga card.
