I have installed my favorate mouse (on my pc) also on my Mac 17"
powerbook to play UR2K4 BUT i am having problems.

First off i do have 3204 version update installed.

The problem is with my left arrow and left mouse buttons. In the full
version if i press the left arrow and the left mouse button often or
in some sequence or just holding them down the game will kick my to my
desk top. (left arrow is my alt fire left mouse is forward) I have
tried to reprogram the left arrow button to many different keys BUT it
still does it. Now what is interesting is that in the DEMO version
when i press these two keys i will get the imfamous strafing to the
right. However, it will not end the game as in the full version.

It should also be noted that when i do press the alt fire (left arrow)
and the forward(left mouse) i can not move forward. It stops me
instantly where ever i am.

I am not sure if it is my mouse, i doubt it because it works fine on
my other system. I am sure it is something with the coding or the way
that the mac is set up.

If anyone has a mac and is playing with a mx500/510/700/900 and has
had this problem and knows the fix let me know.

given the responces or lack there of from posting on the atari forums
i dont think i will get an answer BUT cant hurt to try.

thanks in advanced for your advice.

OK i figured it out, finaly too me a week BUT hey.

Having installed the logitech software to map out my mouse i found
that unistalling it got rid of the problem. Entering the games
configuration for the controls you just press the button you want to
be what ever and it will say like "mouse 5" for the left arrow button.

Easy fix, i am happy now. :D

Sorry no one offered any help!, at least I don't see any help in this
thread except for your own. There are not a huge amount of people
that run a Macintosh, play UT, and frequent this group!. :-(
I am glad that you sorted through your problem though and I will
log this as help for someone else that may fall into your same
problem in the future. So I would like to say thanks to you
for helping us to help others! :)
