Acer aspire memory speed issue

Hello,
I have ACER ASPIRE 1420P
Had new memory installed 2 X 2G
CPU-Z reports memory speed of 399MHz while modules can run as fast as 677MHz
BIOS has no memory speed options
Is there a way to use my system at the higher speed ?

If CPU-Z is reporting active 399MHz then the memory is running at 798MHz effective which is the advertised speed (DDR2 800). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DDR2_SDRAM
