Depends on the onboard video card.

If your motherboard is old, then probably no.

well,a dedicated graphics card is always better than on board graphics,but the choice is yours,how do your games run,if your satisfied with the quality of gaming on that chip,then you really dont need one,but compatibility is a big thing also....like I said the choice is yours.......
