Hey guys, I'm hoping to build my first pc pretty soon as it has been dragging on for quite a while now. this system will be primarily for gaming. Below are the parts I'm buying and would appreciate all advice. I'd like to know is everything compatible and if you would change anything. I don't require a PSU or case. Thanks.

CPU: Phenom ii X4 965
MoBo: Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5
GPU: Saphire HD 5870
Memory: Corsair XMS3 - Memory - 4 GB : 2 x 2 GB - DIMM
Hard Drive: Samsung SpinPoint F3 Desktop Class HD103SJ
CD- Drive: something cheap!
Monitor: Samsung SyncMaster P2350 - LCD display - TFT - 23
OS: Windows 7

PLease let me know if I've forgotten anything, I usually do.

Everything is compatible.

You can save a few $'s by getting an X4 955 and overclocking.

For optical drive, I like ther Samsungs, with LG a very close second.

What kind of PSU do you have?
