Want to get a new graphics card card.

Hey I currently have a Nvidia GT220 and want to upgrade to a better card that will be better for gaming and Photoshop work.

My system specsthis is just copied from my control panel)

Intel Core 2Quad CPU Q8300 @2.50GHz 2.50GHz

8.00GB Ram

Windows 7 64-bit

I have a 21 inch LG HD TV/Monitor

I want to get a pretty decent card but dont really know much on the subject. Im thinking of spending £100-£150

An HD5770 fits right into your price range. It's much more powerful than your GT220, will work fine with your CPU, and will run nice and cool.

Thanks I just checked out the review for that one, it does seem like a good card. Ive also been looking at the ATI 4890 here, how does that compare to the HD5770?

Is the difference in performance between the 5770 and the 4890 pretty big?

Yes, need more info about your PSU here...

Save some money and get a new quality PSU + HD5770, you're wasting your CPU and RAM there...

the brand is Bestec, i think the 350W is the output, it said under output: 350W max.

Its a dell studio 540. Why do you suggest selling the 4GB's of RAM, and also what brand and output PSU would be good?

get a quality PSU like Corsair, Antec, OCZ, Seasonic, SilverStone with 500W plus HD5770, you will be great with that setup...
