5.1 Speakers for Striker 7.1

I'm looking for a set of 5.1 speakers that will work with my HT|Omega Striker 7.1 for about $100. Is it worth upgrading from a set of 2.1 logitech Z523's? One that I'm looking at is the Logitech X-540s, but I'm not really sure. Advice would be appreciated, thanks.

I know that the $120 ballpark doesn't buy too much, but is there anything that you think would be good that's close to there? If there are sizeable benefits to going a bit higher ($200 range), feel free to explain/recommend.

Those speakers you have are really good.The only speakers I see are about $250 to 300 dollars,and IMO its not really worth it.The only thing that will be noticeable will be the size of the sub woofer and the clarity of the bass.So in other words you will hear some difference but not enough to fork over that type of money.

I just took a good look around and saw these on New Egg,I paid 415 bucks for these a year ago.They are awesome and well worth the money http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836121120 and are only going for $299.99.
