High end computer with game play lag.

I'm completely baffled on this matter and cant seem to figure out why I get game lag when I play certain games. We'll these are my computer specs: Dell XPS 730 OS: Windows 7 64-bit Graphics: Dual GTX 280's approx. total memory 4077mb CPU:Intel Xeon x3380 @ 3.16Ghz (4 CPUs), ~3.2GHz Memory: 8192MB RAM DirectX Version: 11

Go to a total of 8 GB of Ram.

what are those certian games and try getting a solid state drive as hdd speed really matters and gat a good psu for all that many ppl think only ram cpu and gup are important but the psu is essential to it and otherwise the comp is good
P.S is one of those games gothic 4?
