Hey everyone,

I have bought a new Sandisk 120gb SSD drive .. i will get it tomorow in the post.

I decided to clean install windows 7 (home premium) with an iso as i don't have the disc.

I want to know will i lose all my HP software that came with the laptop if i clean install windows 7?? Like HP recovery, HP support assistant, HP help and support?? Are these saved to the hard drive already in my laptop and if i change to an SSD will they be lost??

I know i can clone the hdd to the ssd but it can be fairly complicated and i read a clean installl is the ideal method and also i don't have much data on my original hdd.

Thanks for any help.

You can always download all the drivers and program from HP customer support site.
But I don't think any of the software you mentioned are really useful anyway and just bloat your system.
