How i know motherboard supported processor 3 0

how i know that my computer mother board can sport to processor 3.0

First, you determine if the motherboard is an AMD-based chipset, or an Intel-based chipset. Next you determine the motherboard's socket type, and then compare the socket type to the processor (CPU) in question. Once you learn all of this info, you'll know if your motherboard can support a CPU frequency of 3.0 GHz (assuming that is what "3.0" is referring to).
