Hello,
My monitor quit working and the computer will not shut down unless I unplug the cpu. It is an HP Media Center PCm7277c. changed the video card and still no difference. Any ideas?

Can you provide some detailed information on your computer setup? (Include Brand and Model type) Monitor, video card, RAM, OS, How old the computer is

Also, when did this computer start having this issue? Were there any major changes made at that time (software or hardware)?

Unplug the CPU???!!!
Wow, you could destroy your CPU if you're keep doing that to make your PC off...
