I'm building a system and not sure how big of a psu or what psu to get. The system specs are as follows:

amd 955(no plans to overclock)
not sure on the mobo yet, but it will be an am3 socket with ddr3 ram if need more info I can go ahead and find out my mobo.
5570 video card or similar. I will not need to crossfire.
4 gb ddr3 ram
500 gb-1tb hdd 7200 rpm

That's all I can think of at the moment. I need to know what psu to buy to build my system and have it function properly. The PSU can be bigger to allow for future upgrades, but I am on a budget as well.

nothing you stated is very power demanding. A solid 350-400w unit will easily handle all that which you can get at around $40-50. That being said newegg is having a fantastic sale with this antec 520 for $35 after rebate ($49 after the instant rebate is used)

it a very good PSU from a very good brand leaving you with plenty of head room to run just about any single video card out on the market today.
