Core 2 Extreme X6800 on ASUS P5LP-LE

Hi, like the tittle says, I would like to know if I could use the Core 2 Extreme X6800 on ASUS P5LP-LE.

I already know it has this CPU's compatible:

But I want to get the best out of this without having to buy another PC.

Notes: I've compared the X6800 with the E6700 and it has the same FSB, same socket, same manufacturing(65nm), well it's almost the same thing only with more GHz and it's unlocked, but since HP only tried 'till the E6700 it does not say anything on X6800.
I would like to make sure it works, so please, please help me!
I've read that the X6800 has some trouble with X86 systems but it can be repaired with an update.
The X6800 is OEM and the E6700 is retail...
If it's not compatible, then I'll have to get the E6700.

You already have all the possible information on compatibility that any of us could find. The only one who could help you is someone who has tried it in that motherboard.

I just want to know if there's at least a 90% probability that my mobo will support this without problems.

Finding a person with my mobo, the X6800 and registered on this forum is something I don't think my luck will be able to afford

I'd put it at 99%. I would be very surprised if it didn't work.
