How do I know if my motherboard has four 6 pin power connectors?
I want to install Radeon HD 6870
My Current Specs Are:
Motherboard:Intel DG31Pr
Processor:Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 GHZ
RAM-4 GB DDR2 800 MHZ Each
HDD-500 GB HDD

How do I find that power connector??What does it look like and if I dont connect it, will my graphics card not start ??

Your motherboard does not have any 6 pin power connectors. If you have any, they will be located on your PSU. Look on your PSU. You will have anywhere from 0 to 4 or more.

Your PSU, even if it has the required connectors, may not be powerful enough to support a 6870. A 6870 will need about 12 amps at 12 volts and two 6 pin PCIe power connectors.

Basic rule of thumb: a good 550 - 600 watt PSU (Seasonic, Corsair, XFX, most Antec models, etc) will power just about any CPU and single GPU video card with power to spare.

What brand and model is your PSU?
