Asus p5n-t deluxe digital optical audio no sound

Hello,
How do I turn on the digital optical output, I have the cable hooked up and have no sound. The plug is not even lite up like it should be. ASUS P5N-T Deluxe motherboard.

I don't have access to your BIOS, but here's the typical settings:
High Definition Audio [Enabled]
Front Panel Type [HD Audio]
SPDIF OUT Mode Setting [SPDIF]
