Hello, I have a Compaq evo w6000 dual 2.4 xenon, 512k ram and an AGP pro slot.

I'd like to upgrade my old reliable viewsonic 21ps crt to an apple 30" cinema display at 2560 x 1600.

I am considering the his Radeon 4670.
Any recommendations/feedback would be appreciated.

Yes, make sire you choose HD4670 AGP version and you'll be good... :)
Just to watch movies or anything that's not hard like gaming, right? So go on, it would be good...
