How good is this card compared to other vid cards. What does it match up to ATI wise, is it like the 4870 or 5870 or what?

I'm looking to buy one, i have intel i5 and 8gb RAM quadcore.

Thanks!

A lot of money for a weak card and more RAM than is worth having.
I would look to build your own or at least find a site that lets you customise all the parts.

I have this board on my HP system and after leaving the system on while I ran some errands came back to two black screens, and nothing I could do, unpluging the card, reseating all connections would not show either screen when booting. I pulled the card and took it to a dealer and he plugged it in to his system and it worked just fine. I brought it home and hooked up everything and it worked just fine......for two days when same thing happened again. I do not know what is going on with it but plan to replace the card rather than fight this mess. The thing is still under warrenty but because I am in very rural Thailand that is out of the question. So I for one cannot recommend this card from this experience.
