Budget SSD?

Looking to throw in a cheap, but relatively fast and reliable SSD for a Linux drive in my current setup. I was looking at the Samsung 830 64GB, but I don't actually need that much space. Any recommendations?

  1. That is an excellent drive, and you would likely be very pleased with it. I had a lot of issues using corsair drives, but zero problems since I switched to the samsung line.

I am currently running my Win7 desktop on samsung 830 128GB ssd and it is awesome!
If you are after it cheap, check these guys out :

I bought mine off them. They are 100% legitimate shop in Rockdale NSW, and are very reliable IMO.
  3. Thanks guys, I also have a Samsung 830 128GB as my Win7 drive. :) I'll hold out a bit longer in the hopes that it drops below $60 (or I catch it on-sale),
  4. IMHO, 64GB is too small for a boot drive.
