Hey, which combo will be the best as a replacement for my aging mobo? I want my budget to be a max of around $200. I have these two in mind:

Option # 1:
A mobo/CPU combo plus memory

Option # 2:
Intel Celeron (Dual core), memory, mobo and cooler

Option # 3:
Something that you recommend?

Thanks so much for the help.

Hey, thanks for the reply. No I do not have a graphics card (well, I do but it's olddd), that's why having video on the mobo is a must. What you linked me to sounds great, how about if I replace the Athlon X2 by X4? So something like this:

Or possibly if I go with intel something like this:

Again, I'm trying to save as much money as possible but for something that can play 1080P, be 'future-proof' for the next few years at least, and if by any chance it can play games then even better (but this isn't a must as i have another PC for that).

You can get an Athlon II X3 as well, it's more than enough for your needs, it can play games too.
Get a 1.5V 2x2G RAM kit they're tested to work together in dual channel.

Futureproof would be this AM3+ socket mobo, it can take the new AMD CPUs (Bulldozer) to be released in June. Also SATA3 and USB 3.0.

It's says it's an ATX mobo but from the dimensions and a comment in there it's a mATX mobo.

Thanks for the help. I went to a local computer store and they had Athlon II X2 260 on sale so I picked that up with a Gigabyte motherboard and 4GB of memory. Working great so far :D !
