Gaming PC for under 500$

I am looking into making a computer that can play Starcraft 2 at mid to high settings for under 500$. This is going to be my first PC build and and am not sure if the stuff I have picked out are all compatible. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't need speakers,mouse or keyboard.
I have a copy of windows 7 64 bit.

Need Cooling???

  1. Also, check this thread out, this guy is after the same thing as you possibly, so he's got some suggestions for about the same price range.

  2. Gotta say also, I recommend against that Chiefmax power supply. Get something like an OCZ, antec, corsair, etc. But not the off name brands. I have seen Chiefmax units before, and the ones I've seen didn't seem too great. You don't want to cheap on a power supply because a junky one can take your whole system if it goes out. Also, may want to dump the x4, check on the x3's, you can get an x3 440 3.0 ghz for around 75, maybe instead of the 9800gt, grab a 5750 or 5770 with what you save on the chip.
  3. $660AR Knock off $20 if u swap the F3 1TB to a F3 500GB ^^
  4. The 9800GT is too expensive when you can get a 4850 for about the same price. Go with this

    SAPPHIRE Vapor-X 100273L Radeon HD 4850 1GB
