I am really close to buying my new rig and I am just looking over my choice of the Asus Matrix!
I read some specs on it but today I read some benchs for the first time and the V2 seems to
be very comparable as far as benchs go. I just don't want to spend 500+ on something that isn't worth it.
I have always wanted the 5850 DirectCu cause I could OC it to stock 5870's and runs very cold.

I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with these or thoughts. It is going to on a CH4
in a HAF-X so the 5850 would be able to use the front air duct but the other wouldn't.

The 5870 MATRIX is a cherry-binned chip that guarantees OCs of over 1000/1300. The 5850 is almost guaranteed 1000/1200, which is enough to beat a stock HD5870, though it will fall about 8% or more in performance of an HD5870 MATRIX.
