I have a Toshiba A505 laptop with Windows 7 Premium 64. It has an Intel i3 processor. I heard somewhere that you can configure the processor in Windows to boost power when needed (such as during start up). Is that the case, and if so, How.

If you are referring to Intel's Turbo feature, the processor does this automatically, it is not a Windows setting. However, to my knowledge none of the i3 models support Turbo.
