hi,
I think my ati 5770 is getting too little power, my present psu has a single +12v rail which provides 17A, i think this is waaaay to less for the gpu and i am thinking of changing to the cooler master 600 ex power (http://whitesindia.com/shoppe/computer-peripherals/powe...). This new psu has like 18A on each of its 2 12v rails, is this a good choice?

The CM is plenty for your HD5770 which your current PSU is not. Cooler master PSU are not top quality but they are reasonable quality.
