Will the CORSAIR HX Series CMPSU-1000HX 1000W be enough to power a Intel core i7 930, 1.5tb Western digital black,2 evga 470 sli?

Just for future reference, Newegg has a great resource for estimating required wattage for your system here. Its just an estimation mind you, but if you've got a supply that will run 50-100W over their estimation, I think you'd be very very safe. Punching in your system information with a few guesses, it looks like you'll need about 850W to be safe, so 1000W should be perfectly fine. Best of luck!

Amps on the +12volt rail (total wattage available for +12volt) is equally if not more important than the total wattage for any modern system.

My bad, that's very true. I had forgotten about that. The Newegg tool is still handy for ballparking, but it is very important to make sure that you're getting enough power on the rails you need most. Thanks for catching my biff.
