I kno the mem slots are fine because with the previous ram it showed both slots working, it cant be a bent cpu pin because if that was the case on my previous ram set up it wouldnt have showed 8gb. only thing i can think of is to maybe reset bios//cmos? any help will be much appreciated More about : ram problem tvvism May 3, 2011 6:50:06 PM btw reason why i upgraded is because i want to OC and i heard its bad to OC i5-2500k with a 1.65 volt ram. m 0 l Emperus a b } Memory a c 81 à CPUs May 3, 2011 7:37:03 PM Sounds like a bad memory stick..
