Hello, every time plugged in my 4GB USB scandisc cruzer I am using constantly, is asking me to be formatted? I have some important data and picture on it. If I do formatting I am afraid to loose all my data. I wanted to copy all data but I cannot open it. What can I do and how to recover my data?

:hello:

Pandora Recovery is free and should be able to recover the data

If for whatever reason Pandora Recovery fails, you can use the System Rescue CD to boot your computer. you may be able to access the files right off the bat, but if not try out the apps in the "Start" menu; testdisk and photorec. testdisk might be able to repair the disk so recovery is unnessesary. if testdisk fails to fix the disk photorec can recover the lost data. if photorec fails, it's time to call a professional data recovery center.

Pandora Recovery can be downloaded @ http://www.pandorarecovery.com/download/

System Rescue CD can be downloaded @ http://www.sysresccd.org/Download

Burn the ISO with the Windows Image Burner;

:: OR::

"Burn" The ISO to a USB thumbdrive with Linux Live USB Creator downloadable @ http://www.linuxliveusb.com/en/download
