Hello,
I have a relatively old system and considering upgrading. I am trying to determine the biggest bottleneck in my system...that is if there is one or if its just one big bottleneck!

Honestly it isn't that slow for day to day tasks and average gaming, but it doesn't run Red Alert 3 (or graphically similar games) too well with all the bells and whistles on.

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 2.133GHz http://www.newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=n82e16819115004
Video: ATI x1800xt 512mb sapphire http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102629&cm_re=x1800xt-_-14-102-629-_-Product
Mobo: GA-965P-DS3 (rev. 1.0) http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=2314#ov

I can't remember the specific details of these...
Ram: 2gb DDR2 800
HDD: 250gb Western digital 7200rpm
Power Supply: 500W

any thoughts?

Your biggest bottleneck is your GPU (gaming wise). This will be your biggest impact in gaming. Your other bottlenecks are more related to your older system, which would mean updating to a newer platform. Updating your GPU, you will get your biggest improvement in gaming.
