no way i had an 9600GT and barely ran it with good fps at 1024x768 low settings. you need a better video card for it.

Everything looks good except that video card, it was a weak card back in 07, I think modern integrated graphics are nearly as powerful and the next generation Sandy Bridge/ Fusion graphics are without a doubt more powerful than an 8400 gs.

Pick up at the very minimum a Radeon 5670 or Geforce 240 GT, but I would recommend better if you want high definition gaming as the cards I mentioned still won't handle it despite being several times as powerful as an 8400.

Umm being British and using UK sites, the only ones i can think, are the GT240 and Radeon 5550? But i know these aint great cards anyways, but someone more familiar from newegg will be able to get better deals than what i can see..

These are in the 50-75$ catagory..

GT240
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Radeon 5550
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I am totally unsure if these are Low end gaming cards. I coudl give you prices of gaming cards in the UK, but that defeats the objective here

at your budget you wont run it a high detail settings and hidef resolutions mate.

Not true.. Realize high def is not very high at all on computers. It's a low/mid (1920×1080 )range res.

Now the high settings probably not gonna happen but low-medium settings would (depending on the game)

You need a good graphics card like atleast a Radeon 5750 or something.

Get something in the 5xxx series

Possibly ATI Radeon HD 5450, 5550, 5670, 5750, 5770

Depending on your price range, you can get any of those DX11 cards above which you should definitely want since DX11 is the latest and I wouldn't go for anything less. Like I was saying, you should be able to get em anywhere from $40 to $150 bucks

I myself am getting a 5770 as that's the best bang for the buck atm

the most irritating thing here is not all cards are available even at the largest computer market.. they only have 2-3 to chose.. :(

Like I said, get something in the 5xxx series by XFX, Sapphire, or other trusted brand
