Hi, im about to purchase a Gateway SX2840, and of course, its integrated video card is crap, so i'd like to upgrade with a low consumption, low profile (the case being totally tiny) Nvidia graphics card (No ATI cards please).

i was looking at the Geforce 9500GT, but my PSU is 200 W and most people say that wont really work with the 9500.

I need to purchase this PC ASAP, my regular computer just went on the fritz, and i need your advice :(

other PC specs:
6 GB DDR3 RAM
1TB Hard drive
Core i3-530 CPU
1 PCI-e x16 slots available.
Intel GMA X4500HD Graphics Chipset included

bah, i am just so not a fan of ATI cards. but i do want this PC to run smoothly. Now im realy really hoping this card fits, its always a bit of a gamble even if it is low profile.

Nvidia simply does not have anything competitive in that group of cards with power consumption/performance. This GT220 would be the closest but it does not have the performance of the HD5570 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814134090

okay, smaller problem now. im in canada, and im ordering my PC from tigrerdirect.ca. they dont carry this radeon card. this is a problem seeing as the cardholder purchasing this actual thing wont order from any other but tiger direct. what would the second best suggestion that i could check if they carry, the geforce 220 on that power consumtion chart? but whats this special edition bit?

*correction, 240, noty 220, but nvm, the 240 isnt low profile. i dont need ridiculous performance i guess i would say, but is the 220 power consumption friendly in my case?

ohh, thanks timop, i searched for 5570 but i didnt get that result. so definitely 5570 over 220? any last words on the 220? i really would be partial to it, damn nvidia loyalty!
