Double Checking my Build

Hello everyone, I just want to double check my build before I make my purchase.
I had found a compaq case a few months ago and want to mod it a little. I want to paint it and add a fan or two.
The modding I am not too worried about, but I just want to make sure all the parts are fine.
The one item that I am not too sure about is the graphics card because it has had no reviews. Should I still go for it?

Here are the parts.

Motherboard
ASUS M4A88TD-M
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131654

CPU
AMD Athlon II X2 250 Regor 3.0GHz
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103681

Power Supply
OCZ ModXStream Pro OCZ500MXSP 500W
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341016

RAM
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231277

Hard Drive
x2 Seagate Barracuda 500GB (I will be putting these into RAID 1)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822148395

Video Card
XFX HD-555X-ZNF2 Radeon HD 5550 1GB
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150492

The total cost is around $500. I do not want to spend any more than that.
The reason why I do not have a CD/DVD Drive is because the one that I plan on using came with the case I found.

Please let me know if there are any suggestions!

Thanks!

Get the Corsair 400CX instead, output about the same amount of power as the OCZ but has a better and more efficient design, its also $10 cheaper.

Im not sure why you want the HD5550, Its about the performance of a HD4650, just lower power. It wont satisfy moderate gaming needs and for HTPC, the HD5450 works better for the cheap.

If youre not gaming, the onboard HD4250 would do fine, if you are, get something like this for ~$30 more: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102901&cm_re=hd4850-_-14-102-901-_-Product

Yes that is the main reason why I was wondering about the card, I saw it in the combo. The motherboard and cpu are also a combo.
Will I be able to play games like COD:MW2 as good settings or should I go with the card Timop suggested? I really do not want to spend much more than I already am. I feel that my card is good enough, but I want to make sure I will be able to still play these games.
I have a HD 5850 in my gaming rig that I built during the winter. It was my first build and I am still loving it.

If you're still checking in on this thread, how did the 4850 DDR5 work out for you?

Specwise, the main differentiator between the 4850 and the 4870 was DDR3 v. DDR5 memory, so I'm thinking it should perform close to the 4870. Anyway, they cut the price to $89, so I ordered one, and was wondering if you were happy with the choice.

I've yet to purchase the parts, but I will be going with that card. Maybe I will sometime this weekend, I want to make sure when I make my purchase I will have time in the next week to actually build the computer. Oh how fun it is to have a busy schedule with work and such during the summer ha ha.

I will let you know how I like the card, but if you receive it before I do let me know!

sorry but i bought the last saphire 4850 this one has ddr5. if you read the stats its really clocked at the same speed as a 4870 except it has 512 ddr5 vs 1g as the 4850s originaly came in 512 flavors while the 4870s came with 1gb ( when they first were released ) i would of got the 1gb modelfor 10 more but my first 4850 is a 512 (crossfire). when the 6000 series comes out ill get duel 5000 series as the #850s are usually cheapest price /performace when the next ones come out
