Hello,

I have an Acer laptop running XP and my password to get into Windows includes an "N". However, the "N" button on my keyboard dos not work. I have removed the actual key, blown compressed air across the keyboard and nothing.

Is there a work-around?

I do not have access to another keyboard and need to get into my laptop A.S.A.P.!!!

restart the computer and push f8 before the windows splash screen is shown to enter safe mode. once in safe mode, log into the administrator account, and change the password for your account via control panel-users and passwords. The alternate method is to wipe the password using the offline NT password editor disc, but in this case that would be a last resort.
