CONFLICT BETWEEN A1 SUITE AND WIN7

ARE THERE KNOWN CONFLICTS BETWEEN A1 SUITE AND WIN 7 OR WIN DEFENDER

This is a sad ongoing saga

Original version of AI suite had problems with Win7 and this was supposedly attributable to it checking your serial number and only recognising pre-release serials. There were also some people who suffered install errors. Personally my copy says that it install itself successfully but hasn't.

There is a patch that has worked for some people but not for me and many many others.

I suspect that the patch may work on completely clean installs but not on people who have had previously failed installs.

As yet have seen no solution that is guaranteed to work except maybe highly skilled register editing not recommended unless you are an expert.
