What Video Card and power supply (leaving some money for a decent HD) do you all recommend for gaming. TF2, Fallout 3, Oblivion, BF bad company etc.

Did you mean you wanted to spend ~$240 on a psu, gpu, and hhd?

Then you could go:

OCZ Modstream 500w + Gigabyte 5770 1 gb = $176 After Rebate

Which leaves you $64 for a hard drive. I highly recommend the Samsung Spinpoint F3. There still might be one on sale for $65 at ewiz.com
