Ok, just got the new EVGA X58 SLI3 motherboard and i7 920 2.66. Will I be able to go in bios when I stick in three GSKILL 1600mhz(s)? note that the motherboard just got out from the retail box everything is new and that I placed a 1600mhz ram(s) directly.

Im just confused on what ram to buy. If I can buy 1600mhz and stick it into the motherboard right away without ocing yet. And woundering if i could get into bios with 1600mhz

1600Mhz ram with CL8 or 7 are a very good choice.
The mobo will default the speed to 1333Mhz and different timings when first installed.
Simply go into the bios and enable XMP and adjust the dram voltage to the ram vendors specs and it will run at advertised speed.
Good ram kits for the money 41mm tall and under.
