I have MSI P67A-G43 and my LAN/ethernet driver is not recognized

I cannot install it nor see it in my device manager.

It seems that it doesn't even exist.

I don't know what to do. Please help! :(

The ethernet controller is physically there, but cannot be recognized by windows.

More about p67a ethernet driver recognized
  1. Have you checked the manufacturers website for a driver?

    http://www.msi.com/product/mb/P67A-G43--B3-.html#/?div=Driver&os=Win7%2032
  2. WHen I install it it says during the installation "FindFile Failed."
  3. Did you install the drivers from the CD that came with the mobo? If you haven't that's the problem & solution.

I have with the chipset installed in first.

The problem seems to be that it is in "deep sleep" or something like that.

Windows cannot seem to recognize that the ethernet adapter even exist as it cannot be located in the device manager even if I click on "show hidden devices"
  5. When i try to install the driver it says "The Realtek Network Controller was not found. If Deep Sleep Mode is enabled Please Plug the Cable". Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
  6. So, I solved this by buying a separate ethernet adapter :/
  7. I solved it by downloading the latest driver from MSI onto a USB stick. After installing on the affected PC, all was fine.
