Hi all! So this is my first time building. Needless to say I'm going through some serious growing pains. At the rate I'm going I wouldn't be surprised if I need to buy a new motherboard and processor for the system to turn on. Tonight I had considerable trouble getting the Heatsink on the processor. I eventually did, but in the process I lifted the heatsink off the processor after I placed it down and rotated it because I had it in the wrong orientation. Did this kill the coolant? Do I have to buy some coolant now, take the heatsink off and reapply????? uggghhh this is frustrating.
My screwdriver also slipped when I was pushing the clamps down.....hope that didn't scratch. Some serious growing pains going on here.
Mobo= AsRock 770D
CPU= X3 445
