Hey guys

i was wondering if my Corsair vx450x psu be able to handle a new msi hawk 460 ive orderd,

my specs are:
AMD Phenom II x4 945 @ 3.7ghz
GA-M720-US3
Kingston 4gb ddr2 800
1tb Seagate hdd
and 80gb Seagate hdd
And currently using a Powercolor 5750 1gb v2

So is it possible for the 450w to be able to handle the 460 hawk and if so is there enough to do some overclocking on it?

thanks guys =)

okay ive just come back and did a check on http://extreme.outervision.com/PSUEngine and its says recommended is 471w but thats for a 465, since they did not have the 460, and the minimum was 420w, so it seems i should be fine, but i would still like to be sure.

^ That Corsair 450VX should be able to handle GTX 460, it is far more efficient than the 465, but you might have to go light on overclocking the card though...

Select the HD 5850, they have the same power consumption. The VX450 is the Seasonic S12 II 500W inside.
