SSD Not Showing Up

i just replaced a 60gb SSD with an OCZ AGILITY3 120GB one (used the same power and data cables). it is not where my operating system is installed.

this secondary SSD shows up in BIOS, and when windows boots up, i got a message saying the drivers were properly installed.

but in explorer, that SSD is not listed, even tho it is in device manager.

any ideas what's wrong?

i have w7 64-bit.

Did you open disk management and initialize/format it with the wizard?

oops, forgot that step. btw, how many MB should the smallest size be set to?

never mind. forgot to format thru disk manager.

With an SSD your best move is to partition to the entire size of the drive in a single primary partition.

when i format, i think it asked for the smallest unit size (?). default is 8MB, which i used. is that correct?

An what size partition did you get, somewhere around 110-112Gb formatted?

yes, 111 GB
