Hey Guys -

Putting together a cheap budget build soon and I need motherboard advice.

The parameters I need to include are:

m-Atx form factor
capable of using 2 x 4 gigs of DDR 3 1600 RAM
capable of using Phenom II X4 965 Black AM3 3.4Ghz

I am unsure if I want to spend the price to get a board that is compatible with the future AMD bulldozer chips so any input on whether get an AMD3+ board is worth it or not.

I will also have a Solid state drive on board, but it will be only SATAII compatible.

Thanks in advance for your help, hopefully that is all the info you need.

Oh and I also live in california and amazon.com has free shipping/no tax so its my ideal purchase place.

I would advise against buying a AMD system right now. Even the slowest i3's are faster than the Phenom II X4's and have better upgradeability. Depends on what you plan to use the computer for to.

If you want to build a AMD system, wait till June/July.
