Hi,

I was wondering which is better price/quality, GIGABYTE HD5670 1 gb ddr 5 ( around 70€) or is it worth getting more
+/- 70€ for the HD5770 ?
Note: I'm Not an Hardcore Player, so medium graphics will be good for me

5770 is noticeably faster than a 5670 and IMO its worth the extra cash

hum... thanks for the fast reply, one more thing is the ddr5 worth? or ddr3 would be good?
I usually play 1280x1024

For 1280 x 1024 and your gaming statement HD5670 would suffice. With the same GPU GDDR5 is going to be faster than GDDR3, comparing different GPU's with different ram modules does not work.

Yes a 5670 suffices for playing games on medium settings and on that res,but if you can afford the 5770 then go for it,and you can max out games
And like rolli said,you can't judge VGAs only by GDDR3/GGDR5,there are lots of other important factors like the number of stream processors,core clock,memory clock...

for now i can't really afford the 5770, it costs more 70 or 80€ which is not much, but oh well.

HD5670 is good for your resolution, but with HD5770 you will last longer, that card is MUCH better than 5670...
Well, make sure you have an enough power from your PSU if you want to get HD5770.
