Will this combo work?

Currently I'm selecting the parts I would like to build my new system. I really want the intel i7 950 CPU, but I'm unsure if it will work with the ATI FirePro V5800 GPU. Can Intel CPUs work with ATI cards? I personally can't think of a reason they wouldn't work together, but I just want to reassure myself.

Of course it will work, Intel and AMD are not daft enough to prevent their CPU's from working with a particular manufacture of GPU.
