Nvidia 8400GS PCI freezes my GX620

Hello,
So i am trying to get a lil larger of a card in this Optiplex GX620 i have and decided to go with a 8400GS as it fit my needs.. upon installation of the card however the computer refused to boot. It will POST, tell me the card is there, then blackscreen when it comes time to load windows and freeze. Any ideas as to the cause of this?

Try an ATI HD5670. They are small and thin and have GDD5 and DirectX11. You can't go wrong there! They cost about $90-$120 depending on the brand, if you get it from Newegg.com.

Possible driver conflict! Did you uninstall the old card in device manager prior to shut down and install of the new card?
