I'm not a tech person by any stretch of the imagination, but Windows 7 was logging off and wouldn't stop. I manually turned off the computer power, waited, then tried to start all over, but it resumed the continuous logging off.
I read the fixes, and they sounded like a lot of work, so I turned off the computer again, waited, turned on the computer, and when it started the continuous logging off, I held down the Escape key. It worked. After that, I emptied the cache -- Don't know why. It just seemed like a good idea. Like flossing at night.
I don't know why the problem started. Don't care. I don't want to know the inner traumas of my computer. I just want it to suck it up and work.
Thanks.
