New rig throwing breaker?

So I just recently built a new computer and it keeps throwing the breaker to my room while playing crysis, mass effect and ect. The new computer is the only variable that has changed and I used to have my previous computer hooked up the same way. There is no way my new rig is THAT powerful to be throwing the breaker. (750 watt psu, single gpu).

My surge protector is hooked up with the following: computer, monitor, 5.1 surround sound, modem, router, xbox 360 (xbox isn't on during this time)
Other things running In the room: cieling lights, cieling fan, sometimes TV and TV cable box.

I'm thinking my surge protector may be the problem because it is well over 8 years old. I also seem to have a less of a chance of throwing the breaker when I play with the lights off, but I am unsure of this. It doesn't happen at anytime during idle or normal use. Just after 45-1hour of gaming with everything on highest settings.
