Hello,

I have a PCG-GRX700 Sony laptop with 512mb/2.2Ghz winxp. I was using
my laptop the other day with the battery and when the power was low it
automatically went to hibernate. Usually when that happens I plug in
the AC power and reboot and it unhibernates, but this time it wouldn't
boot. The power and battery lights illuminate but the fan won't run
and the computer doesn't boot or make any noise. I've tried booting
with and without the battery and nothing happens. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Disconnect the power,, Pull the battery.. pull the 2nd slot stick of
RAM. Hit the reset button on the back.. It will most likely boot.
Sounds like Bad solder joints in slot 2. If you need help just yell.
