Hey guys, am in need of your help. This build is actually for a friend of mine. She just wants something that can handle most things and she loves taking photos so photoshop will be utilized i guess. As you can tell its not going to be a whole lot of computer. I'm not really sure if those sites will help but normally those are the best ones i guess. Actually recently built my own rig after reading a few articles here on Tom's but thats for another post. So for now, just really need help configuring something workable for the small amount of cash. Thanks a lot and more power!

Well I'll try, others would too just not many can read Japanese lol. (I can't, but I'm just using the search bar with amazon, the English option helps too) :D

I've converted everything to approx U.S. dollars.

Hmm, checked out the parts i listed again. If i got all of those, id be out of the budget in no time. So i guess i really need help on this one. Would it be better to go for ddr2 rather than 3 to cut expenses? what else could i shave off? i guess we could add a bit for the os, max 75,000 (approx $750) i guess.

Total = $680

Notes:
■ If something is completely wrong, pleas tell me. I can't read Japanese sorry.
■ It's a bit overbudget but I really can't do much more - hopefully you can stretch the budget to ~ $700 for the ODD + M/KB.
■ I went for the AMD Athlon II X4 because it will be faster with PhotoShop and multitasking, as well as a few games too.
■ The ASRock 870 Extreme3 is a newer board which will last longer. :)
■ The HD 5670 is cheaper and should do the job just fine if it's minimal gaming.
■ Not sure on the ODD.
■ I'm not sure whether or not that is the right version of Windows 7, just check to make sure it comes with a DVD and everything.
■ Haven't recommended mouse/keyboard, not sure on this part.

Thanks so much for the replies! :D I know how that feels, I live here and I don't know how to speak the language. The funny thing is, I'm Japanese. :D
Lmeow, thanks a lot. I think that would be the best setup the most intensive program to be used would be photoshop. Thanks for the blueprint. By the way, stupid question but how do you chose the best answer? Been looking for that for quite some time. Thanks again!
